Darkness of the RoseA red rose. A symbol of a love and of a promise. Looking into her eye’s I see nothing. Its as if she is so far away from me that I cannot reach her. I hold out my arms to try and touch her but I stop midway and drop them limp to my side’s giving up the idea. Her soul appears to be locked away from her body. She seems to look past me now, as if I was nothing or invisible. Rain begins to fall as I peer into her dark bottomless eye’s. I say gently to her with feeling “I love you” hoping to bring her back from the depths of her mind.Darkness of the Rose
